I am constantly working on projects and should probably start a blog dedicated to just that! Here's just a little bit of what I've been doing in my spare time. As well as working on more items for a craft fair I have coming up that I'm freaking out about!
Second, I made this peasant top style shirt, also from a tutorial on the same site. It can be found here: http://indietutes.blogspot.com/2007/07/peasant-blouse.html I need to alter my pattern some but I love the way it turned out. I made it out of cupcake material for Brianna's birthday that is coming up. I'm also almost done with a cupcake clip for Bri's hair, but I haven't taken a picture yet.
I also have been wanting another purse lately. I made one that is large to hold all of my church stuff as well as things for Brianna. But, I've been wanting one that's smaller to fit my wallet, keys, cell phone and snacks or a drink for Brianna and still have it be small! So, I made up this pattern and really liked how it turned out! It's been fun now that I'm feeling more comfortable making my own patterns and seeing what I can come up with and not having to buy an expensive pattern! Oh, and I love this fabric and want to make Brianna a dress out of it! I just can't decide what style yet. But, it should probably be for the fall! And Brianna's room is finally done!!! It is one of the only rooms in the house with painted walls, but I couldn't help myself. I don't love the raspberry colored wall, but it was my second attempt at a pink color and I was trying to finish it before we moved in! In the last couple of months I finally finished painting the flowers on the wall, I framed a picture of Brianna that I took and embellished the frame, I embellished the curtains with silk flowers and buttons, and I better be done! It starting to look a little too busy to me, but I'm worn out so it'll have to do!
I don't have a wide angle lens, so sorry about all the pictures!
And the rest of the house is still a work in progress. It's really hard to want to do much in a home when you don't own it. I have been working on the front room a little and will share pics when I get a little closer to what I want!

Pretty dang cute! Bri is going to grow up to be a model; she's getting so much practice and is already struttin' like one :). Good work!
EVERYTHING is so cute! :-)
You are like super woman! I love her little shirt! I wish you lived close enough to come fix up my house for me. :) Maybe I can get enough inspiration from you to want to do it myself... we'll see! Everything looks great!

Erin,
Can you get me emily's e-mail address. Chris is getting married this month and my mom needs her address. I think she has the rest of your addresses, otherwise I'll ask you about those later :)

I am so impressed with you Erin! I wish that I had the talent and patience to paint and sew like you. One question...do you think you save any money by making Bri's clothes or is more a hobby? Just curious. I am doing some simple projects, but the fabric always seems to cost so much!
I love your decorating, especially the blue pillows and painting. I always have dreams of painting a nice picture...I know what you mean about white walls. Luckily, in my new rental the walls are painted - and in very nice colors.
