8 Months and On The Move!!!

On the move with the intent to destroy anything in sight! Miranda learned to officially crawl last Saturday. She had been doing the backwards crawl but she now is moving forward and is super fast! I left the room just to go to the bathroom and found her in the laundry room on the other side of the house! Our life with her is quickly changing. She seems to be on a mission to find every speck of dirt on the floor to taste it, to dump every toy basket, search every unlocked cupboard and knock over the recycling garbage to see what she can eat! She also loves to find all of Bri's small toys that get left around!
Notice her right ear? She got some bling over the Christmas break!
Panda has also learned to pull up on her knees and occasionally to standing. Miranda has had a really rough time since we got home. She's been back to her screaming, arching and throwing herself back, constant gas and tummy pains, and absolutely no sleeping. I'm talking up all night and no napping. We finally had a good day today with 2 good naps and she's down for bed! We'll see if she can keep it up.
Miranda had a double ear infection and did not respond well to the antibiotic. It had corn in it and she got super sick to her tummy again. I think she's finally recovering now that she has finished the second one! We also started prevacid because the gastroenterologist thinks she has silent reflux! Ahhh, the life with girls with food allergies and reflux!
When she does feel well she's starting to be a lot of fun to play with. She laughs at the silliest little things. Her favorite thing right now is to play with the door stops, laugh when I make animal noises while we read books, play peek a boo, tackle her sister and just explore the house!
