Brianna turns 3 tomorrow and celebrated today with a bunch of her friends!
I must first say that I have the BEST Visiting Teachers EVER! The both stopped by before the party to help me finish setting up. I would never have finished in time without them! And they are both VERY pregnant! They are fantastic! I also had other friends who were very helpful before and after the party! Thanks guys!
To start our Princess Dora Adventure we had the kids decorate their party hats and crowns.2 Princesses ready for an adventure!
To start the adventure each kid got a "backpack" that I made for them. The girls had purple and the boys got orange ones like Diego's. Inside were things to help on the adventure plus some party favors.
The first stop on the adventure was Crocodile Lake. To cross we had to fix the rainbow bridge.
Then it was off to the Rainforest to save the baby monkey! This didn't quite turn out how I invisioned it...but it was still fun!
Of course we had a run in with Swiper on the way....and he swiped the key to the castle! Chad did a fantastic job and even made one kid run away crying!
Luckily we were able to find the key to the castle inside the pinata! It took lots of kids, and the bravery of Nick who ended up holding the pinata while our last kid took some swings at it!
There was lots of candy to add to our back packs too!
Having a good time! We also had stars hidden throughout the entire thing so they could do some "star catching" and add them to their back packs. I think that helped add more things for each kid to be able to participate along the way.

Wow!! What fun! I should have sent Callie via FedEx or something! The cake looks great, as always. Callie had a castle cake this year too. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
Wow Erin! You get the birthday mom star! The cake looks awesome. And I absolutely love the picture of Bri taking a big breath- so funny! Chad makes a good Swiper, too.
She must get her ability to open her mouth so BIG from her mom.
Wow. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: You are one amazing Mommy! Did you take the Wilton cake decorating class?
I am not a Dora fan, but seeing the pictures I wanted to come to your party! You are quite the talented mommy. And that picture of Bri pre-candles is priceless!
OMG is there anything you can't do. That party was amazing...I am not showing my kids because I could not even come close.
Liam wore the backpack for the next 3 days nonstop (except we wouldn't let him bring it into church--despite his insistence). He had so much fun and told me all about the bridge and crocodile lake and Swiper. It is fun to see the pictures that go along with it. Great job. Thanks for inviting Liam.
