I can't believe Miranda turned 9 months old today! We don't have her doctor's check up til next week so stats and a formal photo shoot will come later. I just wanted to write down a few of the things she's doing for my journaling.
- Brianna makes sure that Panda is decked out with a necklace, wand, and other princessy things just like Bri. (Miranda is also wearing a new dress, pants and headband that I made.)
*Miranda is pulling up to stand on EVERYTHING! She is starting to cruise.
- She loves to babble and her favorite phrase is "dada!" She doesn't know what it means yet.
- She loves to tackle her big sister! They play really well together most of the time!
- Panda is a little explorer who goes from room to room throughout the house to see if there is any small thing she can put in her mouth.
- She is quick to smile these days.
- She loves and prefers her Mamma.
*Miranda started waving and clapping this last week. She can be found most of the day "practicing" her waving and clapping. If she hears someone say "yeah!" she typically gets a big smile on her face and starts to clap! She also seems to be saying "yeah" sometimes when she claps.
- We've been working on sign language and she's beginning to sign "more" though sometimes I can't tell if she's just clapping or not.
- She has started to cover her eyes or hide her face behind random objects for peek a boo!
- She likes to unload the dishwasher.
- She LOVES to take all of the magnetic toys off of the fridge.
- She loves books and starts to giggle if she sees that you're going to read to her.
- She loves to go through toy baskets and cupboards and loves to pull everything out!
- She is finally sleeping through the night most nights now. (Only for the last week and a half or so.)
- Her naps are getting better...she's slept for an hour to an hour and a half for her naps the last few days! I'm crossing my fingers it stays that way.
- She also has put herself to sleep without crying the last few days too!
Here she is waving!
This picture shows the movement of her hands clapping. It's so fun to watch them figure things out. She is so proud of herself!
