Miranda at 7 Months

Miranda turned 7 months old yesterday! A lot of people tell me that she doesn't look anything like Brianna. As her mother though I see a lot of similarities between the two (besides their no sleep issues and big tummy troubles that they share). The biggest difference between the two girls though is that Brianna had lots of hair and Miranda has, well, almost none. It is starting to come in, but you can barely call it "hair." So, much to her father's dismay there is often a big flower or bow on her head to cover up her baldness. Brianna on the other hand had pigtails like fountains at this age. I loved being able to do her hair, but I must admit it's much easier to just plop a headband on Miranda's head and call it good. (Brianna was a bit chubbier than Miranda too!)

Anyway, so I wondered how much they might look alike if Miranda actually had hair. To help you visualize this I got a little help from photoshop and this is what Miranda looks like with Brianna's hair. (This was a really quick photoshop experiment so it's obviously not perfect!) It made me laugh....

Should we invest in a wig? :)

We love our little Panda no hair and all. (And even no sleep and all, though I don't know how much longer my body can handle this. I realized the other day that it's been almost a year and half since I've actually gotten a full night's rest. This baby has been waking up nearly 8 or more times a night lately due to tummy pain! If we could just get that to go away I know she could sleep! And then so could I!)

Anyway, happy 7 months to our little girl who's starting to get on the move and will be into everything before I know it! She's trying really hard to crawl and roll and pivot to get what she wants and she's one determined little girl!
