Best Husband Award

I have the best husband!!!
On Tuesday I turned 30! (A lot of people don't believe I look 20, how in the world am I going to pull off 30?) I spent the morning at therapy for Miranda and a large part of the afternoon at the DMV. (I really don't like the DMV! I spent over an hour in line the day before to find out I didnt' have the right paperwork!!! Aghhh!) A good friend watched the girls for me and then I came home and had piano lessons to teach. Chad was supposed to go to a Young Men's activity early that night (or so I thought) and he often plays volleyball after. He had told me he'd come home early to make me some brownies and give me my gift. A dear friend had invited me over to dinner.
Much to my surprise a few different couples that we are good friends with, and Chad jumped out and said "surprise!" I nearly dropped the baby. I was so confused because I was sure there was a church activity! Anyway, Chad had gone shopping for one of my favorite meals and Stacy and a few others cooked it! There was my favorite cake, great gifts and good fun. Then Chad put together a slide show of my 30 years (some of which was rather embarassing, I wasn't a cute kid!) He even put it to some of my favorite songs! One of my gifts was a new game called "Dicecapades" and we had a ton of fun playing it! We got home much to late for the girls, but it was really fun! So, my dull day turned into a fantastic birthday because I have the world's best husband!!!
Now, his birthday is in a few weeks and I need to figure out how I'm going to make his day as special as he did mine? Any ideas? We'll be in Memphis!!
Sorry I don't have any pictures, I wasn't planning on a party. Chad took a few with his phone, we'll see if any of them turned out!!!
