I'm grateful for lots of things right now and just needed to share them!
- I'm grateful for the several friends that have offered to watch Brianna during my appointments that she can't come to! Seriously, I have had the best support from friends!!!! And Brianna is loving all the playmates!
- I'm grateful that this diet is easier than I originally thought it was going to be!
- I'm grateful that so far I've been able to keep my sugars in the right levels with the diet and haven't needed insulin or other meds!!!
- I'm grateful for my sweet husband for making me this meal last Sunday when I woke up for breakfast (that fits in the diet) And that he made it on a fast Sunday when he couldn't eat, and he even cleaned up after wards!!!! And, he made the eggs into heart shapes by cooking them inside a cookie cutter! Isn't he cute!?
- I'm grateful that the baby has responded well to all of the stress tests so far!
- I'm grateful that I'm feeling better than I have been during the last few months!
- I'm grateful for so many things that I couldn't sit here and list them all!
- I'm grateful that my husband is working so hard and studying so much for his big test that is at the end of the month!
- And I'm grateful for the many, many blessings we have in our lives right now!

sorry to hear about your gestational diabetes. with 2 of my pregnancies, I was always so borderline but never quite there.
One of my friends passed the test but felt so super crummy for the last few months of her pregnancies. She begged the doctors to do an ultrasound to see if things were okay because she just felt something was wrong. They wouldn't.
So she had her baby a few weeks early and the babe was 10+ lbs. Turns out she had gestational diabetes the entire time (but didn't know it) and her baby was basically a little couch potato in the womb just gaining tons of extra weight.
Anyhoo... so it's great that they caught it early enough for you. I agree with you that the diet would be really hard. I hope it goes okay for you. What a lovely breakfast your husband made!!!
Erin, you are so tough and optimistic. That would be tough to go through AND be pregnant at the same time. I appreciate your strength and gratitude for something that would make most people grumpy. Keep us posted! We'll keep you in our prayers. :)
Way to go, Chad! I am very impressed. So glad you're feeling better, Erin!
