Easter Sunday

(Once again posted in a batch so feel free to scroll down. And sorry about the picture overload...I tried to cut it down....)
I told Bri earlier this week that the Easter Bunny was going to visit and fill her basket with eggs and candy! She went on for several minutes saying things like, "Oh, I'm going to be so excited! I'm going to say "wow", etc. etc." Well, she was excited this morning no doubt!

This child is becoming a candy addict....we need to change that!


Posing by her new shoes! Her Grandma Langstraat sent her some fun things for her basket in the mail! Her favorite thing is the Super Girl pajamas with the cape!!!! I have more pics of that to post soon! I told her "Good night Super Bri" and she said, "Good night Super Mom, you need a cape!" She can be found "flying" throughout the house in the evening in these pajamas! Thanks Grandma, we love them!

I wasn't planning on getting an Easter basket this year with my diet of no sugar and to stay in the budget I just put some Candy for Chad in a Walmart bag! (Pathetic, I know!) Then, after Bri and Chad had finished looking at their "baskets" Chad told Bri she needed to help me find mine! I was rather confused....

In the garage I found this huge present in an Easter Basket!!!! Doesn't seem fair that he just got candy and I got a Wii Fit but I was super happy!!!! We even tried it out this morning and it's fun! Unfortunately the Wii doesn't know I'm pregnant, so it just thinks I'm overweight and have bad balance!!! Well, of course I weigh more and can't balance with a bowling ball for a stomach!!! I'm excited to play with the Wii more! Thanks honey, it made not having candy today so much easier! Especially since Bri was trying to shove candy in my mouth all morning. She kept saying, "Eat one mommy! You'll like it!" I kept trying to tell her I couldn't and she said, "It's easy! Eat it like this!" I finally said, "I can eat candy after the baby is born!" "Ok mommy, I'll save you some!" Thanks Bri!


Here is Brianna modeling the Easter Dress I made for her! She loves to "twirl" in it! I finished it several weeks ago and Chad had to hold both Bri and I back from letting her wear it until now!

We had a little Easter photo shoot!

And then an Easter Egg hunt in the back yard! She LOVED it!
