All Things Baby

Here are the pics of Miranda's room as promised! All we need is a picture and frame for above the changing table once she comes! And I haven't painted the leaves on the flowers yet, but I'll get to it. I wanted something more modern looking than Bri's flowers so it would be different.
Did I mention how great my friends are? My good friend Heather painted the room blue for me since I'm not supposed to be around paint---and she did it a few days before her scheduled big surgery! Now that's a good friend! She's always doing things like that!
I also made a tent/canopy for the car seat to help block the sun and nosy random people away from the baby. I made it reversible and I wanted a peek a boo part mostly because I'm claustrophobic and I want the option to have "some coverage" vs "full coverage."

I also made some matching car seat belt strap covers and a handle cover because ours was getting that yucky sticky feeling! I was planning on making a car seat cover....but the desire to actually make it is starting to fade!
My wonderful friends threw me a baby shower on Friday. Here are Michelle, Marianne and Jen the sweet girls that threw the party! It was a blast! My doctor said I could go off my diet for the evening so I was even able to eat one of the fabulous cupcakes from Cupake Craving! All I can say is YUM! There were also other treats and plenty of low carb things to choose from too! I wish I had taken a picture of the food layout!

I kind of felt silly having a shower for baby girl #2, but it was really fun and I appreciated all the support! Here are some of my friends that came!

Where do you find the time and the energy to make these things? It astounds me! You are so talented. If only Mason were so lucky. :)

I was so bummed I couldn't make it to your shower. Willis' family was here from the great state of Utah and we were in the throws of chaos. I hope it was awesome! What do you still need? Just because I wasn't there, doesn't mean a gift won't be making an appearance! :)

So cute, of course. And cute new blog background, by the way! Hope I can muster up the energy and talent to get cute things ready for my baby. Of course, B.G. only gets a tiny corner of our room...Miranda is a lucky girl!

I LOVE the nursery. And those prints on the car seat ... darling. Sorry I couldn't make it to the shower. Crazy night here. I have a gift for your little one that I've been staring at for a week. I'll try to get it there before she makes it here :)

first I LOVE the carseat cover!!! You have no idea how many times I've wanted to slug to random person that reached into the carseat where Bennett is laying only a few weeks old!! THe first thing people touch are their hands or face...probably the two worst places. You might see one of thse pop on my carseat in the near future. Such a great idea! Second, I love her room. You seem to have so much energy. All these projects...still running house, taking care of Bri, and being pregnant (and not to mention down to the wire..this baby is almost here!), amazing Erin!

I'm sorry I cheated on our race. Apparently I have developed rheumatoid arthritis in the last year and a half so the doctor induced me so I could get on some medicine! That means I can't nurse, but hopefully will be able to do things like change my babies diapers, which I seriously have not been able to do! So I cheated, but for a good reason! I hope this last week goes by fast for you and you have a dreamy delivery!
