- She weighs 21 lbs 14 oz.
- She's 31 3/4"
- And her head was in the 84th percentile!!! Doesn't that sound like a bobble head proportion to you?! :) We like her just the way she is though!
I decided it was time to do a photoshoot of Bri since she turned 2! She was very cooperative the first half and was just posing like a natural...then the water bottle came out to do her hair and we couldn't get her away from it! I also was getting really frustrated with my camera that is starting to die on me!!! Ahhh! It's time to get a new one, but to get one that's worth the money for me is really really pricey! I need to start saving up before my camera finally gives out! My flash was not cooperating at all...even with fresh batteries...so forgive the lighting in some pics! I edited them the best I could with what I had!
Brianna is a very expressive child, especially with her face!
Waiting for Daddy to spray some water into her mouth for smiling for a pic! Brianna is talking up a storm lately! She is constantly surprising me everyday with more new words! She is speaking in a lot of 3 and 4 word phrases and it's so fun to hear what she has to say. Some of her favorite phrases are:"I found the moon! I catch it!" and then she proceeds to jump and try to catch it followed by "too high"
She'll throw something on the ground and say, "Pick it up mommy!"
"Here you go!" "There you go!"
"I found you!" "I saw you!" "Come on!" "Ewww, dirty!" then she'll try and fix it and says, "All clean!"
She is also beginning to say her prayers with some help. It's cute to hear her saying "Heavenly Father and Amen" She'll copy whatever we're telling her to say in her prayer and even add some of her own words!
She started this extremely shy phase and says "I'm shy! I'm crying!" while hiding. My favorite is when my brother Ned had seen her for the first time since she was 4 months old and she was in the bath. She saw him and hurried to the corner of the tub and proceeded to put her face in the water so she didn't have to see him! I thought she might drown herself just to get out of interacting with a new face!!! Hopefully this shy phase won't be so dramatic for long!
Brianna loves to sing and dance. She especially loves to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and gets so excited any time she sees a star! She's really blossoming with her songs, music and dance moves!
Brianna has a lot of personality and is generally really happy! We love having her in our home! She was almost fully potty trained before she turned 2 and then this last week she started cutting a tooth and slowed down a bit on the potty training! She's still doing great, but not as good as before. I'm going to dedicate a whole post to potty training later (aren't you excited!!!:) Today she has been begging to go to the potty at church and a friend's house but then freaks out when she gets to the potty because she fell in at church today! And this is my child who wasn't afraid to go on the airplane potty and in the airport!!! Hopefully her fear will pass before too long! Brianna will say and recognize most of her colors and she's really getting into her letters. If she sees a D, M or B she knows that they stand for Daddy, Mommy and Brianna respectively! I didn't teach this to her so it surprised me. She must have just caught on when I've spelled our names. She's obsessed with the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and loves to watch a musical version of it on you tube! Speaking of obsessions, she LOVES Dora! In fact, I can get her to do almost anything with the promise of a Dora sticker or letting her watch Dora! It's kind of nice to have an obsession to be able to reward things with!
I think she's threatening me here if I take one more picture or I'll get sprayed.Blowing kisses!
And that's our Brianna! There's so much more about her, but I could spend all day and bore you to death! We are so grateful to have her as part of our family! I had some really cute videos to share of her, but we're having technical difficulties!

She is precious!!
I think I know how your camera got on the fritz...take a look at the second to last picture. ;) She is adorable and the pictures look amazing! I'm glad someone has successful photo sessions with their kids! [I'm sure it helped that her mommy was the photographer!]
Whoa, that means that Nathan, Bri, and Vanah are all within a few pounds and inches of each other...with Nathan being the largest! Bri is SO cute. I'm so glad we got to see her in Utah last month. I can't wait until all the cousins are together in November.
Thank you for the fun news and photos of Brianna! It's so great to be feel connected to you all through your blog. She IS darling! I hope you didn't tell her that I forgot to send her a birthday card. I better get with it before she thinks Aunt Wendy is a dud of an aunt!

Erin, she is so, so, so stinkin' cute! Have you considered entering her photo in to some sort of contest?
She is adorable! Can you believe we have 2 year olds?! Crazy business, if you ask me. :) Hey, let me in on your potty training secrets...books you read on it, or incentives...I could use it around here. We haven't done much along the lines of potty training, but I would really like to.
Are you guys alive???
