I have been overwhelmed with all of the things I have to post, and so I kept putting it off. I never posted our Memorial weekend in Utah or the rest of our trip to Memphis. And, I figure it's just too late to catch up because I have a ton of things to post from our recent trip to Utah for the 4th. You may too be overwhelmed by the amount of pictures I have to share, but just skip ahead if you want!
We drove with our friend Jen, and her daughter Kylee to split gas. It was so nice to have a 3rd driver, especially since it's a 10 hour drive and we went through the night.
The first day Brianna spent some time playing with her cousins in the sprinklers!
Over the weekend she just had fun playing with all of them!

Uncle Mark
Aunt Lou Lou (Lindsay) Bri's facial expression is in response to Mark playing the guitar!
In the pic below you can kind of get a look at the July 4th outfit I made for Bri. I wanted it to be something she could wear more than once, so it's only red and white! But, my friend Emily made some really cute corker bows pictured in some of the pics above! After the parade we went home and Bri had a short nap due to no real sleep the previous 24 hours. We woke her up about an hour and a half later for the BBQ (not realizing she wouldn't get to bed again for another 12 hours...that's right, she was awake for ***12 hours***!!!) Brianna was inseperable from her cousins Maddie and Courtney! She absolutely loved them! They played so well with her, that I didn't have to worry about Brianna for several hours. Maddie is 9 and is the biggest helper. She played with Bri and even put her down for a nap...but Brianna never went to sleep.
On July 4th we woke up early to go to the Provo Parade. It's ridiculous that people camp in the spots they want the day before to get a good seat! We showed up an hour early and just enjoyed spending some time together. Luckily the kids were able to sit up front so they could see!
Brianna really enjoyed the parade, especially the big Monkey, Dog, Elephant balloons! There were some really fun floats

We headed to Thanksgiving Point to watch the fireworks. Brianna fell asleep in the car 2 minutes before we got there and I was worried that she was going to be too tired. But, she played with her cousins and had a great time watching the fireworks!
This is Mike, my sister Lindsay's fiance. The kids just love him, as do the rest of us. They are getting married August 9th and I had the opportunity to take their engagement pictures and Lindsay'd bridals the last 2 times I was there. I will share the pics soon!
After the fireworks we got in the huge line of cars to head home and never moved even an inch in over 20 minutes. We could see the cars on the main road and over that time only saw one truck move one car's length. Since we were stuck in a Movie Theatre parking lot, we parked and saw the 11:00 showing of Wall-E. I thought for sure Bri would sleep, but she stayed up through the whole movie walking behind my parents and Lou and Mike's chairs peeking at them! She did good though and slept in the next day until 11:45!!!
On Saturday afternoon we went to Seven Peaks and spent the day in the water! We had a ton of fun and Bri loved the water and even loved going on a big slide with Chad. Unfortunately I can't find the pics I took!
On Saturday evening Chad's brother, Curtis, and his wife Alicia and son Nathan came to visit. They stayed at my parents with us and Brianna got to play with Nathan who is 15 months old. He sure is a cutie and we loved being able to see him and play with him. Unfortunately, I forgot to get pics of Curt and Alicia, but here are a few of Bri and Naters playing peek a boo!
Phew, that was seriously the longest post EVER! And that was only a tid bit of our vacation! I promise to never make a post that long again!!!

thanks for sharing your fun!
You guys had a busy vacation! You got some adorable pictures of Bri--I love her 4th outfit--where did you get the fabric for her shorts? I'm thinking Bean could use a new dress. . . And maybe I'll do the matchy-matchy thing for me :)
Kim,
The fabric is from Joel Dewberry called Damask in red. Here's a link: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=sr_list_4&listing_id=11595718
You can buy it on etsy for 7.50 a yard plus shipping. In stores it'll run about $10 a yard. It's not cheap but I loved the print! I can only justify fabrics that cost that much because I used the scraps and sell items from them to pay for the fabric and then some!
Joel Dewberry has some great prints!
That is impressive that you drove that far. We are not that motivated. It looks like you had a good time so I am sure the drive was worth it.
What a jam-packed trip!!! You guys really know how to have fun!
What a fun trip! It looks like you have been having a great time visiting family and hanging out. I LOVE the outfit that you made for Bri! It is so cute. You are so talented.
It's Aunt Jiffy Luby Dawg!
I'm glad you guys had so much fun on your trip. I'm sorry Paul and I missed you. The 7th totally works for us to get together if you're still good with that. Take Care!
I'm still impressed that you make cute outfits. If only I had the time and talent. :P
