So, I'm behind on the blogging thing again. In fact, I'm so far behind that this first part of the post was probably 3 weeks ago! :(
Over Mother's Day Weekend Chad flew to Denver to pick up the van we bought from his Grandma after his Grandpa died. Chad's dad drove it to Denver with some stuff for Chad's brother who lives there. Chad flew out early Saturday morning, visited his family for a short amount of time and then proceeded to drive to Orem, UT to pick up my brother, Mark. After a quick "hello" to everyone he jumped back in the car and drove all the way to Sacramento with my brother (through the night) and he arrived back home at 7:30 a.m.!!!! The boys slept all morning to recover!
We are so grateful to Chad's Grandma and family that helped us get the van! We absolutely LOVE it. I still need to take a picture!!! Brianna loves being able to sit up high enough that she can see out the windows and watch what is going on!!! And I love the extra space, the automatic door, being able to drive places with friends and being able to fit purchases from yard sales and craigslist in the van! :) Thanks again Grams and everyone else that helped get the van to us!
My brother, Mark, stayed for a few days and we got a chance to go back to Old Town Sacramento, visit the coolest Train Museum ever, play in the water features at the park and we went back to Fairy Tale Town where Brianna had a ton of fun! We were sad to see Mark go (Brianna calls him "Mucky" instead of "Marky" and sometimes it just sounds like "Yucky!")
Then, last week my cousin Kim and her family dropped by on their way down to the Bay Area! It was during Brianna's nap so Bri was kind of drowsy, but the kids had fun! Too bad it was such a short visit...but we're glad we got to see them before the move off to the East Coast!

Yea on your new van. My kids pimped out my van for me. Hopefully Bri will do the same for you (You Tube "mom my ride")
Yeaaaa, for the new van! How great is that?! It looks like you have had some fun visitors (you've lucked out with a pretty steady stream of them since your move. You'll have to let me in on the secrets of attracting so many visitors when we move, because I am sure I will need them). Okay, so I know Bri is getting older, because Jackson is too, but...seriously, I really just can't get over how old she is looking all of the sudden. She is such a doll.
Erin - It's Kristen Brady! I love your blog - especially all the fun pictures! Let's keep in touch. Let me know how you're doing!
