I got really behind on some of the things I was going to post. So here's to catching up! When my parents were here we went up and visited the Sacramento Temple. It is beautiful. It sits on the hill and is surrounded by a lot wild life. As we pulled into the parking lot we saw this just a few feet from the road:
Yep, tons of deer just hanging out.
On the exact opposite side of the road were these:
Tons of turkeys chasing each other. Is this what is referred to as the "turkey trot?" They literally chased eachother in circles for several minutes! Unfortunately they were eating the grass seed and we couldn't get close enough to them for a great picture. There are so many different kinds of wildlife here. Fair Oaks is a town about 10 minutes from us and has wild roosters and lots chickens just running around. They come right up to you or your car hoping for something to eat. A lot of the local shops sell cracked corn by the handful so you can feed them. It's so fun!
Brianna loved touring the temple grounds pushing her baby in the stroller while wearing her "heels!"
We also went down to Old Town Sacramento and toured where the Gold Rush started. This picture was taken in a fun toy store! Brianna loved playing the with Thomas trains and train table! Here she is with Grandma Gardner.
Unfortunately the time came when we had to say goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa. Brianna still asks for them. In fact, we were in the store the other day and she saw a lady that looked like my mom and yelled "Grandma!" I think it made the lady feel bad, but I giggled out loud!
I have so many more pictures, but I don't want to overload you! You'll just have to imagine them I guess! :)

Lots of fun photos! Thanks for catching up!
I don't blame her for walking in those heels. They are very cute.
