Brianna has a crazy obsession with baby dolls! She absolutely LOVES them! She's usually only obsessed with one or two dolls, but today it was a crew of dolls and bears! I walk into her room most mornings to find this....
and I find a very proud daughter! Today she insisted that all of her babies and bears wear socks like her! I used to have to put diapers on them, as well as Brianna's clothes, shoes and jackets! At least it was just socks today! I finally gave in a week ago and bought her a little play set that included a doll swing, pack n' play, high chair, car seat, etc. She loves it! But, she still prefers the real swing for her babies! Brianna is also constantly "walking" her babies throughout the house.
When we went to the store this morning, she wanted all of her dolls in the car...I only let her take one into the store! In the store she fed the doll and made her wave to all of the people that said "hi"!
Brianna often wants her babies to do everything she is doing. They even have to be kissed if we give her one! The other day Brianna was watching a Signing Time movie while I was cooking dinner. I peeked in to see her making her baby sign the words on the video! :) Then a week ago she was taking pictures of her baby with her play camera, then helping the baby take a picture of her!
Tonight she was really quiet and that's usually not a good sign, but I came in to her room to find this:

She was reading to the dolls and showing them the pictures!
Brianna wants us to love and care for her babies too! She loves to have them cuddle with daddy while they all watch basketball. Today, I was babysitting my friends baby and rocking her to sleep. Brianna had me hold 5 of her babies/bears at the same time, all needing their own individual blanket!!!
We sure enjoy our little girl! She keeps me laughing and smiling!

How adorable!! She seems so young to be doing that. But I guess that mothering instinct is powerful!
I've started to calling all the babies and stuffed animals, etc... that Claire and Annie take everywhere as hostages. Before we leave the house, everyone leaves with at least one hostage.. MISS YOU!!!!!!!!!!
Chad may have to bring a special suitcase next week just filled with all of her dolls. I can already picture the 3 girls fighting over dolls. Morgan takes her babies/bears to Kroger and Wal-Mart several times a day. They are a very busy bunch.
What a doll! We are certainly proud grandparents. Can't wait to come and visit next month. Thanks for sharing all the cute pictures. We, too, especially liked the one of her reading to her babies. Brianna reminds us a lot of Erin when she was about that same age.

My favorite is the big creepy cabbage patch kid with the giant arms. Good for you for teaching her to love ALL dolls no matter how cute or creepy they may be. If it were me I would definately be putting the giant armed baby in a box, wrapping it TIGHT with packaging tape, and putting it in storage a few towns over. But I am not as good of a person as you are.
What a cutie. I love all the pictures and stories. It's so fun to see little girls want to be mommies. You must be a wonderful mom to her and she wants to be just like you :)
We loved this post. Bri Bri is so cute!! Callie is always taking her dolls to the dentist for some reason. Maybe too much candy?

Seems like you guys are adapting well to having several baby's around the house, thanks to Bri's help! :) She is such a cutie! I love how much she loves her dolls and wants them to be apart of EVERYTHING!!! Maybe its a hint...that she is ready for a baby brother or sister?! wink, wink! only joking!:)
