Goodbye Copper

Since we are moving to California to rent a place, we can't take our dogs with us. First to go to a new home was Copper! We spent the day taking pictures with him and playing. Brianna sure has enjoyed having the dogs, even though they would steal food off of her tray or out of her hands! My nephew, Ethan, came to spend some time with Copper before he left. Copper was a Christmas present for a 14 year old boy and they have said that he loves his new home! We miss him, but our other dog Bogey misses him the most. He hasn't stopped crying/whining since he left. He will cry and bark all night unless Chad holds him now. Bogey will be driving with us to Phoenix and then living with Chad's Grandpa. Hopefully he gets attached to his new owners like he is to Chad. It's been a sad last couple of weeks as we've realized we truly are leaving and leaving so many friends and family behind. We had to say goodbye last night to Chad's brother Curt, his wife Alicia and their son, Nathan. We will miss them. Brianna is especially attached to Alicia since she lived with us!
