All Things New

Well, I'm a little behind on my blogging, so here are some new...and not so new things going on. Chad's sister had a baby girl 2 weeks ago, her name is Savanah Marie. She is as sweet as can be and tiny!

I got to babysit her this morning and Brianna was thrilled. I bought Brianna a baby doll last week and she hasn't let go of it since. Her pretend play skills have exploded. She feeds the baby, changes her diaper, puts her to bed on blocks for pillows and burp cloths for blankets. She burps her, etc. I can't believe how fast my girl is growing up. She saw me feeding Savanah a bottle, so I had to get a bottle out for "her" baby!

Brianna also loves to put "make up" on. She'll put chapstick on, and pretend other things are chapstick. She takes my blush brush and puts in on her and her baby! She loves to comb her hair and comb the baby's bald head!!! This girl cracks me up!
Brianna is learning to climb, so we've entered a danger zone!

She gets on top of the hearth, the futon and other small chairs. Luckily she's too short to climb some things! Unfortunately she's not very safe at getting off of things...she just walks off of the edge! She does the same thing with stairs!
Brianna is mastering a "scowl!"

She never does it to really give me a dirty look, but just seems to be practicing facial expressions. She thinks she's pretty funny! afterwards! She's also finally dancing and bobbing to music. She gets her head moving like a peacock, it's cute! I need to catch it on video.
I'm sure there's more, but that's all I can think of for now!

So cute! I am loving her scowling face! It cracks me up. :) She is growing up so fast...I guess as fast as Jackson, but it always suprises me the things that these kids can do. Her pretend play with a baby just seems so old. What a cute girl.

Just when I think she can't get any cuter... she is such a doll. And she's growing up so fast.

That scowl is just too funny! And she is so sweet with her doll. I love seeing what she can do because I know that Emma will be learning the same things soon!
