Michelle Rasmussen came to visit at my parent's house! Her son Jackson is a handsome little boy. He's about a month older than Bri and she sure loved playing with him! I don't think she's ever played with a boy that close to her age before! I was teaching him to sign "more" with some food, when he saw Brianna sign "drink!" and signed it himself seeing what she got in return! Then, we popped one of Brianna's signing videos in and he continued to imitate several more signs. I think he did 7 or so signs in 15 minutes! What a bright boy! Anyway, at one point he stares at his hands like he's so surprised what they can do! Here's a picture! It was so good to see old friends!
When Brianna wasn't trying to play with Jackson, she was climbing up this slide! I had my hands full watching her all week climbing a slide and stairs, both new things that she hasn't quite mastered!

It was so great to see you! I went right out and bought the "I can sign"...animals and playtime DVD's. He has been loving them. He can sign all the animals, except for turtle. He signs more, food, and drink all the time. Thanks for getting us started. I needed some inspiration. I just thought it was too much work to teach him, but you made it look so easy. I hope this will help him to talk sooner. Anyway, thanks for making time for us to come and see you. We already miss you, and wish you lived closer so we could do play dates more often.
