The last couple of days have been busy! We went to the Petting Zoo at Thanksgiving Point with my mom and dad. My sister, Megan, and her kids met up with us a little later. Brianna enjoyed seeing the animals and feeding them some seed. She rode the ponies and was happy at first, but near the end of the ride decided she was afraid of them! Afterwards we went over to an art building where they did some glass blowing and made stained windows! I wish the camera battery hadn't died, because it was really neat. Brianna skipped her nap and was wide awake when we got home, so I took her to the first part of the BYU Women's Volleyball game! She loved watching the ball go back and forth and kept saying "ba ball, ba ball." She finally got tired and fell asleep in the car. (which is rare!)
Today my nephew, Zach, was baptized. He asked me to give the talk on the Holy Ghost! I felt quite prepared since I had worked on it all week and had an object lesson and everything, but the room was so noisy with little kids that I couldn't concentrate. It didn't go as well as I planned and I just hope I made some sense! I felt frazzled, I have always had issues with sounds. I could never take tests if there was the slightest noise, and I cannot read without complete silence. So, I couldn't shut out all the noise from the babies and kids, and therefore had no idea what I was saying.
Tonight my mom made dessert and we had some of her siblings over to visit. My cousin Kim and her husband and kids came over to visit too. She has adorable little ones and I was excited for Brianna to play with them. Unfortunately, Brianna wasn't as excited because she was exhausted! I put her to sleep, but when the noise level got to be too much she woke up! So, it's past 10:00 and Brianna finally just went down for the night ( I hope anyway!) I'm sure she'll appreciate having a routine back when we get home in a few days! I know I will!
