We hope you all enjoyed celebrating Independence Day! We had a lot of fun. Brianna and I went to our ward breakfast at the park. Unfortunately, Chad had to work. Then Bri and I went swimming when she woke up from her nap! She loves the pool! When Chad got home we joined his family for a dip in the pool and a cook out! (In the west that would be a barbeque, but that means food like barbequed pork, etc in the south! You say barbeque and they are not expecting hamburgers or eating outside!)
While we were eating, our niece, Callie, fell into the pool. She's almost 2 years old! Luckily her 4 year old brother saw it and started pointing to the pool! It was so scary to see her under the water looking up at us for help! Her mom jumped in and luckily Callie is just fine!
Brianna was exhausted after the family get together so we put her down. Chad stayed home with her while I went to watch the fireworks from the TCBY parking lot, which is a tradition for his family. It takes a total of 25 minutes to park, see the fireworks, and get home! The best part is beating the traffic.
We are so grateful for this country where we can exercise our freedom! We are so blessed to be in the United States and we were grateful to take a day to contemplate it and celebrate our Independence!
Here are several pics!
Chandler and Ethan. They live in the pool these days!

Christine and Alicia. Christine cut almost everyone's hair after we went swimming. She's so nice to share her talent and cut all of the family's hair!
