The Claysons come for a visit!

Chad's old room mate, Denis, drove through Memphis on his was to D.C. with his mom. We enjoyed having them stay with us and were able to spend some time with them on Friday! They went to see a few things down town while Brianna napped and I met up with them for lunch at the Big Foot Lodge! We ordered the Sasquatch Burger which is 4 POUNDS! We cut it into 1/8ths and still didn't even eat half of it. (We posted this same burger when my parents came out for Bri's blessing!) It was funny to see all of the people at the tables around us taking out their cell phones and taking pictures of the hamburger!

Afterwards we went to Mud Island Park and did the River Walk. It is a small replica of the Mississippi River. You walk along the "river" and get to see the different states and cities is passes through. They keep the water in the replica at the same depth as the river now. You can see all of the topography and stuff. At the end of the river you can ride a paddle boat in the Gulf of Mexico. It's fun for kids to come in their bathing suits and play in the "river."

We really enjoyed our visit with Denis and his mom! The bridge in the background is the one Chad is working on!

Wow, it's crazy to see him. It brings back some cool memories of living at good ol' Campus Plaza.

So, if you eat the whole burger, do you win a prize? I'm up for the challenge. Brent's sister lives in Bartlesville and we have thought about going to visit her. I'll let you know if we do and we could meet up!

Paige, That would be fun if you came up! They have a wall of shame for all of those people that couldn't eat it under 60 minutes...inlcuding the fries. Only one man has done it, and he is a professional eater that took third in the hot dog eating contest! He ate it in 11 min and 6 seconds! I don't think there's a prize though! I think you just don't have to pay for it!

That is one crazy burger. I wouldn't even know how to begin to eat it. I am glad that you had a great time.
