Chad started calling Brianna "the sweetest Hippo" and the nickname has kind of stuck. I don't know why, but I always pictured the cute little cartoon Hippos and the ones in Sandra Boyton's books. This Thursday was a beautiful day (It has been in the 20s for awhile...then several days this week it's been in the upper 60's!) so I took Brianna to the zoo. Chad met us there for his lunch break. It just so happens that we realized the bench we were eating on was directly across from the hippos! So, I took a picture of her with the infamous "Hippo." Much to my surprise I saw the ugliest animal in the world!!!! I've reconsidered her nickname...but still find myself calling her that. Take a look at these pictures then tell me you would call your child a hippo!?!

haha that's funny! they look better in the water when you can't really see them! :)
I give you permission to continue thinking of Hippo's in the cartoon sense. Cartoons are more animated and Brianna can be pretty animated.
All I have to say is Brianna is by far the cutest hippo I have ever seen. You can just cross the image of this real life one out of your mind. Just "cancel it" as JT would say.
