Christmas Morning!

As a tradition for Christmas we would all line up from the youngest to oldest on the stairs before we got to come down and see what Santa brought! So, even though we all slept in the basement, we lined up on the stairs as usual! How sad for me, Chad is younger than I am by 2 1/2 weeks so I got bumped up a step!

Brianna enjoyed holding her gifts and playing with them. She was really good during gift opening so we could enjoy some time with our family! What a fun first Christmas!

My sister Lindsay got a "boyfriend" for Christmas! He is a pillow with an arm that he puts around her and his heart even beats. It is true love at last!

My sister Emily always does really creative gifts. This year she decided to help us all remember our childhood heroes or things we loved. She put together unique "costumes" that we had to wear for some fun pictures! She even took pictures from when we were kids and cut and pasted them onto pictures of our heroes! I used to really like "Get in Shape Girl" so I had to wear leg warmers and a head band and hold weights. Lindsay was a Care Bear, Matt was a Thunder Cat, Mark was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Ned was Pele (a soccer player), and Emily was a Monchichi. We had a lot of fun with it! Here's our crazy picture (I may regret sharing this!)

Where can I get me some of those leg warmers? It looks like you all had a great time. It's those silly family moments that create good family unity.
