The South has Fallen?

Erin has been planning to host a pampered chef party for quite a while now. I was so sad for her because of the storm that hit at about 4:30 pm today. In all of the years I have spent here I have never seen flash floods like these. There were many stalled cars that could not get through the "river" that was up to 4ft tall in places here in Memphis. On our street corner as I turned onto our street, I sent a foot-high wake into my sister's yard. Several houses were out of power (including my parents')


I thought this would stop the 50 million women my wife invited from showing up. As it turned out this pampered chef stuff is more powerful than I thought! When I went out to find my phone, there were women everywhere. I'm just glad that my wife was able to play such a wonderful host and that I didn't get in the way.
