I co-hosted a baby shower the morning after we moved!!! It was one crazy weekend! Thankfully my friend, Stacy, took over most of the prep and hosted the shower in her home!!! She is amazing! We had fantastic food, fun new games, and some good girl time!
Marianne is one of my closest friends and we are excited for their first baby, Sienna, to come. Brianna thought Sienna was going to "pop out" of Marianne's tummy at the shower!!! She was sad that she still has to wait to meet her!
We had a pink, brown and white polka dot theme! We had this little "sweet shoppe" set up for the guests to take candy home, all of which were in the color theme. I also made that monogrammed frame for Sienna's room. I got the frame at the dollar store, took some scrap fabric that I had and cut it to fit the inside of the frame, and then cut some vinyl with my cricut for the monogram! Easy and inexpensive gift for the mom to be!
Stacy made these "almost too adorable to eat" ice cream sandwiches. They were absolutely delicous!!
We served lots of fruit with one of my favorite dips: equal parts of cream cheese, cool whip and powdered sugar!
Stacy also made some fantastic brunch foods including: blueberry coffee cake, super moist banana cake and the best egg brunch item I've ever had! She has to share the recipe because it was to die for!!
Stacy (the magic behind the madness), Marianne and Me!!
Happy New Year!
