Our sweet Bri turned 4 today and she is thrilled about it. However, this morning after taking a bath she said, "I've been 4 for like 6 hours mom! When am I going to get bigger?" She cracks me up and literally believed she would magically get bigger this morning because she was turning 4! She kept saying, "I just love being 4!" all day long! I did a quick photoshoot of her, and still have more pictures I want to do, but here's a little sneak peek. More pictures, and bigger versions, will be on my photography blog here. This is part 1 of her photoshoot. And yes, I'm aware that she kind of looks like she's a boy going to the bathroom here, but I liked the shot anyway! I had a hard time getting her to cooperate with this photoshoot, she was beyond silly and distracted most of the time! Then suddenly she started posing like this!Due to work, Daddy couldn't be around for Brianna's birthday, so we gave Brianna her bike on Saturday so Daddy could see her enjoy it! She obviously loves her bike! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa L for contributing to it!
With Daddy gone today, I wanted to do something special for her birthday. We headed over to Fairytale Town and Brianna LOVED the slides!
We were able to talk some friends into tagging along last minute! Thanks for helping us make Bri's birthday a good one. After this we headed to Carl's Jr. (they have gluten, dairy & soy free fries and hamburger patties that my girls can eat!) Then we went home and I pathetically sang a solo "Happy Birthday" to Bri while she blew out the candle on her allergy free cupcake! I must say, it was delicious! I got it from a bakery that is free of the things my girl's can't eat, and I may have to fork the money over for the actual birthday cake for this weekend!
Happy New Year!

I keep having similar conversations with my almost-four-year-old. "When I'm four I'm going to be bigger..." Glad Brianna had such a fun birthday!
She is so darling. I am glad you guys had a fun day and sorry that Chad couldn't be there. Birthdays just don't feel the same when the dad is gone, do they?
