We're Back!

Yes, we got home a few days ago and I've been too overwhelmed to blog any of our trip. I think I will just blog a day or 2 at a time so I don't overwhelm myself or you! (Oh, and we have a HUGE thank you to Sarah Ebbert for designing our new header for us!)
We left a week ago Friday on our vacation without Bri. We started the weekend off in Orlando and spent a day at Universal Studios! It was a lot of fun despite the rain! We purchased some rain ponchos that came in very handy on several occasions! Chad LOVES rollercoasters, and I'm not as big of a fan! I did ended up riding several that I never would have done if I knew what was ahead of me! Especially the Return of the Mummy ride! We only have this one picture because of the rain!

The next day we went to church and then headed off to Port Canaveral to get on our boat, Sensation, which is a Carnival Fun Ship! I had never been on a cruise before, so I was pretty excited. I had been told that you don't need motion sickness medicine because you can't feel big boats move! Well, our boat moved more than they had ever have one move! Everyone looked drunk because nobody could walk straight. Kids had ice packs on their heads from falling over and I was literally afraid to walk up and down the stairs. Most people were in their rooms sick that night. Chad and I went up to the pizzeria after taking a nap, hoping to feel better. The boat started moving so much that all of the plates on the counter flew off and we had to grab onto the counter tops! I felt so sick the whole night. I was excited in the morning when we were at port and not moving anymore, but we woke up to pouring rain all day. So, our first day in the Bahamas at Freeport was a yucky day! We did get our ponchos on and shop at the Straw Market across the street, but quickly went back to the boat to stay dry! The forecast for the rest of the week was RAIN! Luckily, we didn't have much more rain after that though!
