Nassau

Our last day in the Bahamas was spent in Nassau! What a beautiful island! Chad got up early to go scuba diving and I went to another straw market and a few other shops. I hurried back to meet up with Chad who ended up being a couple of hours later than planned. It scared me a little knowing he left by himself with no way to contact me! Boy was I happy to see him!
We spent the rest of the day up at the Atlantis Resort and beach. The resort was amazing! It has a huge aquarium, tons of swimming areas, a slide running off of the "Mayan Temple" that runs through the predator aquarium and many other fun things. I enjoyed taking pictures of the sea life without being in the water with them! Some of the predators were CREEPY!

This market reminded me of the ones I saw in Ecuador and Haiti. Everyone trying to attack you and get you to buy their stuff. I hate bartering when I haven't prepared for it in advance! I walked through without buying a thing and felt like a hero for having done so!

This picture only shows a small portion of the Atlantis Hotel. People pay $25,000 a night for a room on the top and have to stay for a minimum of 4 nights!!!! And it's booked for 5 whole years!!!! Isn't that insane!
