Road Trip Part 1

Before anything else I want to thank my father for giving us such a wonderful weekend! He is my hero!

Most of the boys in my family got to go on a road trip this past weekend. We left on Friday afternoon in our rental car. My dad decided to rent a full size car so we would have more room than his PT Cruiser. When they got to Hertz there were no more full size vehicles available. They got a Jeep Wrangler instead.

There was much less room than needed for four 6' tall people. We were able to swap it out in Tulsa for the ride home. They gave us the new Jeep Commander instead. It seats 7.

On our trip we were able to stop at the Parley P. Pratt Memporial site. It is in the middle of nowhere just northeast of Alma, AR. It was a great experience to ponder Elder Pratt's life as well as reflect on the passing of President Faust. It was a choice opporunity to spend time with some of the most influential men in my life. A memory that will not soon fade.
