The Mormon Tabernacle Choir came to Memphis for the very first time on July 2nd!!!! It was sooooo amazing! It's been so long that I've been in a big place like that where you could feel the spirit. They came to the FedEx Forum which is where the College and NBA basketball teams play. There's usually lots of drinking, etc going on there. We were thrilled to be in that environment without the negative things.
It's not very often that you run into people you know in Memphis. It was great to see so many people that had familiar faces in one place!
Anyway, this is a horrible picture...but that's all we could do with a camera phone. Here we are on a date without Brianna. It was so much fun! We hope they come to Memphis again some day!

My aunt was just telling me about that concert. She is in the choir and was talking about the tour they just took - it sounded like it was a fabulous time. Glad you could go!!
Tell your aunt that they did a wonderful job and my neighbors got to go and enjoy a "Mormon" choir. There is a lot of negative preaching about our church here, so it was nice to have people see a good thing come from the Mormons!
